Senate Bill 272 Compliance

California Senate Bill 272 compliance

Approved on October 11, 2015, and subsequently chaptered as California Government Code Section

6270.5, this bill adds a section to the California Public Records Act requiring local agencies to create a

catalog of its enterprise systems by July 1, 2016, and post that catalog on their respective website, if the

agency has an internet website.

The County of Lassen provides staffing and related services for Lassen County Transportation

Commission (LCTC) and the Lassen Transit Services Agency (LTSA). Because county staff conducts

LCTC and LTSA business, an enterprise system being used by county staff for LCTC and LTSA purposes

is part of the County of Lassen Catalog of Enterprise Systems. The County of Lassen and not the LCTC

or LTSA maintains this catalog directly.

A posted copy of the catalog is available on the County of Lassen internet website, and a printed copy of

is available for public review to comply with Section 6270.5(a) of this Act at the Lassen County

Administrative Services Department.
